Real Madrid's top target for the next transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe, was reportedly spotted in the Spanish capital this week.

The France forward's future has been a hot topic throughout the 2021/22 season, but the transfer saga is expected to come to an end soon as his current contract is set to expire in June.

Earlier in May, RMC Sport reported that Los Blancos had scheduled a meeting with the Mbappe family to discuss the potential move, amid rumours the superstar could sign a new contract with PSG.

On Monday, the 23-year-old was seen in Madrid with Les Parisiens teammate Achraf Hakimi, who has special ties with the LaLiga giants after graduating from their youth academy.

While the reason for Mbappe's visit to the Spanish capital is unknown, it is understood that he went out for a bite to eat with Hakimi and the Moroccan's brother at a restaurant in the city.

Per Marca, there is "total confidence and serenity" at the Santiago Bernabeu regarding the Frenchman's future, with the goal-getter said to have assured Real's directors he has not changed his mind about moving and only wants to play for the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League finalists.

There are reports of a pre-contract agreement already being in place, although the player has continued to insist he is yet to decide on his future.
