Real Madrid star Rodrygo has revealed he made a bet he would score against Manchester City ahead of their thrilling UEFA Champions League clash earlier this week.
Real staged a stunning late comeback against City in the second leg of their UCL semi-final tie on Wednesday night to book their spot in the final against Liverpool on 28 May.
An injury-time brace by Rodrygo in the space of just two minutes saw the game get taken to extra-time, where Karim Benzema sealed the win for Los Blancos with a calmly converted penalty.

Although it was the Frenchman who scored the match-winner, the hero on the night was Brazilian youngster Rodrygo, who has since admitted he was so confident he would score against the Citizens that he made a bet with his dad, although he was a goal short of his intended target.
"I made a bet with my father that I would score three goals and, well, I only scored two," the winger said, according to Goal.
"I'm missing one, I will get that one in the final."
The Los Blancos star also received some congratulatory words from Selecao legend Pele, who posted an image on Instagram of himself next to the youngster, along with the caption: "I always knew the day to congratulate you would come, my friend.
"There is no other way for those who work hard and love what they do.
"You are enlightened and you will still bring us many joys, Rodrygo. Congratulations Real Madrid! I can't wait to watch the final!"
Rodrygo has bagged five goals and two assists in 10 UCL appearances this season, despite having started in only four of those matches.
