A friend of an Egypt star playing at the Africa Cup of Nations has been arrested for allegedly writing several exams on behalf of the Pharaohs striker.
Due to his participation at Afcon 2021, Egypt and Galatasaray forward Mostafa Mohamed, who is also an information technology student at the Madina Academy Higher Institute in Shabramant, was set to miss his first-term exams.
Now, according to KingFut, a friend of the 24-year-old has been apprehended by police for allegedly pretending to be Mohamed in computing exams.

It is said that the institute came to the shocking realisation when they discovered Mohamed's name on the test script even though he is away in Cameroon, prompting an investigation into the matter.
The impersonator was then caught by security during a following test when he was asked to show his ID, and it was revealed that he is not even a registered student at the institution.
The unnamed man was then taken into custody, where he claimed that he was only trying to help his friend, who is believed to be a neighbour of his.
"I wanted to help my friend with his future. I mean, he's representing our country right now," he said, per KingFut.
The suspect also reportedly admitted to having taken three tests on Mohamed's behalf in the past.
No official statement has been released by the Egyptian national team nor the player ahead of their crucial round of 16 tie against Ivory Coast on Wednesday evening.
