Chelsea have reportedly opened talks regarding a loan move for a Paris Saint-Germain star.
With Blues defender Ben Chilwell ruled out for the rest of the season due to a ruptured cruciate ligament he suffered during a UEFA Champions League encounter against Juventus in November, manager Thomas Tuchel is said to be keen on reuniting with one of his former stars as a temporary replacement for the left-back position.

It is understood that the European champions first tried to recall on-loan defender Emerson Palmieri from Olympique Lyon, but their attempts were rejected, with the French club's manager Peter Bosz saying last week that "we're going to keep Emerson until the end of the season", per transfers expert Fabrizio Romano.
It is said that Chelsea could not reach a compensation agreement with the Ligue 1 side as Emerson's loan is for the entire season.
According to French outlet RMC Sport, the Blues have now switched their focus to PSG's Layvin Kurzawa, and are discussing a short-term deal until the end of this season for the player.
The 29-year-old, who played regularly under Tuchel in Paris, has fallen out of favour under Mauricio Pochettino, having played just nine minutes under the Argentine manager across all competitions this season.
The former Monaco left-back is also understood to be one of seven players the Ligue 1 giants had reportedly put up for sale, a list that included the now-departed Rafinha, who has joined LaLiga side Real Sociedad on loan for the rest of the campaign.
