It has been confirmed that Spanish defender Hector Bellerin has left Arsenal on loan. 

The 26-year-old fullback has left the club to join LaLiga side Real Betis on a season-long loan deal.

According to Sky Sports, Bellerin completed a medical in Seville earlier today, and it is understood that the right-back has taken a pay cut in order to join the Spanish club. 

"Hector Bellerin has joined La Liga side Real Betis on loan for the 2021/22 season," a statement on Arsenal's official website read.

"... Everyone at Arsenal wishes Hector the best of luck with Real Betis this season.

"The loan deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes."
