Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has reportedly turned down chairman Daniel Levy's offer to sign a certain Real Madrid star.
With Conte set to be provided funds to spend in the January transfer window, the Italian coach is now said to have rejected the opportunity to sign one of his ex-Chelsea players.
The Lilywhites boss reportedly has a shortlist of players he would like to bring to north London, comprising a number of Serie A stars, including Franck Kessie, Dusan Vlahovic, and Federico Chiesa.

This has seemingly left no room in his plans for Los Blancos star Eden Hazard, who has been suggested to Conte as a potential transfer target by Levy, per El Chiringuito.
It is claimed the Spurs chairman is eager to sign the Belgian, who is currently out of favour under Carlo Ancelotti in Madrid.
Conte, however, is understood to not be keen on the idea at all as he feels the 30-year-old's effort levels were not up to par during their time working together at Stamford Bridge, and it is believed he would rather sign Wales winger Gareth Bale instead.
"Daniel Levy would like to take a Real Madrid player who is always injured," Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda told El Chiringuito.
"He wanted to sign Eden Hazard, but Conte has told him 'no' because he knows him from when he trained at Chelsea and says that he has little intensity and that he is not a very hard worker.
"The most striking thing is the player that Conte has asked Levy to take him to London. He is Gareth Bale.
"Bale ends his contract at the end of the season, but in winter he would not be free."
