With Erling Haaland set to join Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund wasted no time in replacing him. Here are nine of the latest confirmed transfers!

With their star striker moving to Manchester next season, BVB moved quickly to sign Germany international Karim Adeyemi From Red Bull Salzburg this week.

The 20-year-old is said to have rejected a host of clubs who were interested in his services in favour of a €30 million (R505 million) switch to BVB.

Adeyemi is considered one of Germany's brightest prospects after tearing it up in Austria, where he has contributed 23 goals and eight assists in 42 matches across all competitions this season. 

With the forward having signed a five-year contract until June 2027, he is Dortmund's third signing ahead of the 2022/23 campaign after Niklas Sule and Nico Schlotterbeck, who will join from Bayern Munich and Freiburg, respectively.

Meanwhile, in England, Aston Villa confirmed that they have turned Philippe Coutinho's six-month loan move from FC Barcelona into a permanent transfer.

Various reports have suggested that the fee paid to secure the Brazilian on a four-year deal is €20 million (R336 million), while the Blaugrana have included a 50% sell-on clause for any future transfer, per ESPN.
