With FC Barcelona said to have a "full agreement" in place to sign Ivory Coast star Franck Kessie, here are six players you may have forgotten are still contracted to the club.

The Spanish giants have taken a proactive approach to the transfer market, as they are reportedly set to sign AC Milan midfielder Kessie and Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen.

It is also worth mentioning that the Blaugrana also have two loanees in the current team. Adama Traore and Luuk de Jong joined on an interim basis from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sevilla, respectively, and in the former's contract is an option to buy.

Of the half-dozen players sent out to other teams, Antoine Griezmann and Philippe Countinho stand out as they are the second and third-most-expensive signings, respectively, in the history of the Camp Nou side, per Transfermarkt.

Griezmann is currently enduring an underwhelming spell at reigning Spanish champions Atletico Madrid, where he has scored a measly three league goals in 19 appearances.

Coutinho on the other hand is enjoying a revival back in the Premier League and has a respectable four goals and three assists in nine outings for Aston Villa.

Portugal international Francisco Trincao is also loaned out to an English topflight outfit, however, things have not exactly gone to plan for the winger since arriving at Wolves in July 2021, as he has registered zero goals and assists in 21 league games.
