With the transfer window closed, new signings such as Cristiano Ronaldo are yet to make their first appearance since joining new clubs. Here are 10 stars who could make debuts this weekend! 

There were a number of signings that were confirmed on deadline day and the days leading up to it, and a good amount of those players are now in contention to make their first appearance in new colours in the next few days.

Manchester United superstar Ronaldo began training with the Red Devils this week following his blockbuster return to the club he made his mark at. The Portugal striker made an early return from international duty as he was suspended for his country's last fixture, and is set to feature against Newcastle United on Saturday.

Fellow Premier League side Chelsea also welcomed a new signing in the final hours of the window, with Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez joining the club on a season-long loan.

The Spain international has been training with the Stamford Bridge side since the day after his deadline-day move as he was not selected for the Spain squad that did duty during the latest international break, and could be in contention to start against Aston Villa on Saturday. 

Meanwhile, another star who returned to a former club, Antoine Griezmann, is also seemingly set for his second debut.
