Arsenal 4-0 Standard Liege

Arsenal surged to the top of Group F with a 4-0 thumping of Standard Liege at the Emirates Stadium.

Gabriel Martinelli got the Gunners off to a flying start after bagging a quick-fire brace with goals in the 13th and 16th minute.

Joe Wilcock added the home side's third goal in the 22nd minute, before on-loan Dani Ceballos rounded off the scoring with his first goal for the club on 57 minutes.

Sevilla maintained their winning start to the tournament with a slender 1-0 win over APOEL at Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.

Lazio 2-1 Rennes

Lazio registered their first win in Group E after rallying from behind to defeat Rennes in Rome on Thursday evening.

After a scoreless opening 45 minutes, Jeremy Morel gifted the visitors in the 55th minute.

Sergej Milinković-Savić restored parity for the Serie A side just after the hour mark, before Ciro Immobile struck the winning goal with 15 minutes remaining.
