Lebo Mothiba's Racing Club Strasbourg moved one step closer to qualifying for the UEFA Europa League group stages on Thursday evening.
Mothiba was named in the club's 18-man squad for the European outing after earning an extended break from the club after AFCON 2019.
Holding a 1-0 lead from the first leg against Bulgarian outfit Lokomotiv Plovdiv, the Ligue 1 outfit eased to the Play-Off round with an early strike from Mali winger Kévin Lucien Zohi.
In a swift counter-pressing movement the 21-year-old found the net in just the eighth minute as RCS completed a 2-0 aggregate victory.
Mothiba, who became an integral part of the side last season after his €4 million (R67m) switch played no part in the tie - but will look towards earning a start against Stade de Reims on Sunday.
The French outfit who qualified who the European competition after winning the Coupe de La Ligue will face Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt in a two-legged play-off to reach the Group stage phase.
