On-loan FC Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho will be vital for Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League this season, according to Robert Lewandowski.
The Brazil international completed a season-long loan to the Allianz Arena a fornight ago and made his debut in the 3-0 win over Schalke.
The Bavarians have not reached the Champions League final since they won it 2013 under Jupp Heynckes, but the Polish forward believes Coutinho's arrival can improve that.
"His final pass is insane," Lewandowski told Bild.
"He can be the key in important games, especially in the Champions League, that special something. We become more unpredictable through him and that makes us more dangerous.
"He can play as a 10, outside on the left, if necessary also on the right. We can play with one or two sixes, with tens or two eights. We have more options now."
