Vinicius lashes out after Real defeat

UEFA Champions League

After the defeat to Manchester City, Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior says referee decisions always go against Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Los Blancos suffered a 2-1 defeat to the Citizens at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday evening, but there was some late drama in the clash.

Vinicius felt City's equaliser should have been disallowed for Garbiel Jesus' push on Sergio Ramos, who was later shown a straight red card.

"Everyone knows Gabriel Jesus fouls for the first goal," Vinicius said, as per Marca.

"The referees always make decisions against us. I didn't need to see it again in the dressing room. It was a foul. Every game it’s the same – they always whistle against us.

"In 90 minutes you will always have sections that you do not control. We controlled almost all of the game, apart from five minutes. The concentration does not go down.

"We will work hard to turn this around and continue our strong season."
