Ten PSG stars rescued by firefighters

Ten Paris Saint-Germain players had to be rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in an elevator ahead of the club's UEFA Champions League clash against RB Leipzig.

PSG suffered a 2-1 defeat to their German opponents on Wednesday evening, and it has now been revealed that the club's preparations suffered a knock the day before when ten players found themselves trapped in a hotel elevator.

ESPN reports that the likes of Angel Di Maria, Moise Kean, Presnel Kimpembe and Leandro Paredes, as well as captain Marquinhos, were among the players who were stuck in the elevator for nearly an hour on Tuesday.

Local firefighters were hand to rescue the PSG stars from the frightening ordeal which was later shared on social media by defender Layvin Kurzawa, although the post has since been removed by the player.
