Lionel Messi has reacted to scoring his first goal for Paris Saint-Germain following his impressive strike in their UEFA Champions League win over Manchester City on Tuesday night.
Messi finally got off the mark in PSG colours with a stunning finish from just outside the box after a surging run from deep and a quick one-two with teammate Kylian Mbappe in the Ligue 1 club's 2-0 victory over the Citizens.

The Argentine broke his duck in his fourth appearance for his new team, with two of those matches being Ligue 1 encounters against Stade Reims and Olympique Lyon, and the 34-year-old was delighted to finally get on the scoring board for Les Parisiens.

"It was a perfect night against a great opponent," Messi told Canal+.
"For us, it was very important to win this game after [their 1-1 draw with Club] Brugge.
"I am very happy to have scored. I haven't played much recently, I had only played one game here [at the Parc des Princes].
"I am adapting little by little. What is important is to keep winning.
"Our relationship will get better and better with each game. We all have to grow together, increase our level of play. We have to continue.
"We won a very important game against a very big rival, who was in the final last year. We must continue to progress, improve a lot of things for the future."
Les Parisiens are top of group A with four points, ahead of second-placed Brugge, who beat RB Leipzig 2-1 on Tuesday night following their matchday one stalemate with Messi's side.
