Zlatan Ibrahimovic is showing no sign of slowing down at the age of 38, and the legendary AC Milan striker has now written his name into the history books again after his latest goalscoring exploits.
Ibrahimovic has been in imperious form since his return to Milan in January, having scored nine goals in 17 league appearances, including a brace in the club's 4-1 win over Sampdoria on Wednesday evening.
The former Sweden international's double saw him achieve the milestone of 50 league goals for the Rossoneri, having scored 42 times during his first stint with the club, and helped him write his name into the history books with a unique record.
Ibrahimovic, who turns 39 in October, is now the only player ever to achieve the feat with both AC Milan and Inter Milan, having scored 57 times in the competition during his three-season stay with the Nerazzurri.
The record 11-time Swedish Footballer of the Year has scored 131 Serie A goals in 236 appearances in total, spread across his spells in the Italian top flight with Juventus and the pair of Milan giants.
