AC Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed why he told young defender Pierre Kalulu to take off his gloves on his debut.
The 20-year-old made his first team debut in a UEFA Europa League tie against Sparta Prague in December.
During the clash the defender was instructed by Ibrahimovic to take take off his gloves despite the cold temperatures that night.
"Some weeks ago Pierre Kalulu made his debut with AC Milan and he was wearing gloves," the 39-year-old told CorSport.
"I told him to take them off!
"How looks a young centre back making his debut with gloves? For sure he's not going to scare the striker..."
Ibrahimovic has been key to Milan's resurgance this season after netting 10 goals in seven Serie A appearances.
