AC Milan continued their perfect start in Serie A with a 2-0 triumph over Lazio on Sunday evening to go second on the table.
Brazilian-born Rafael Leao got the opener on the stroke of halftime, while within minutes Franck Kessie failed to double the Rossoneri’s advantage with a missed penalty.
Milan made the result theirs late in the second half after the ever-green Zlatan Ibrahimovic got off the substitutes bench to much plaudits to give the host a second and ultimate victory.
Drama followed at full-time with Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri dismissed following remonstrations with the match officials.
AS Roma 2-1 Sassuolo
AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho witnessed his 1000th game as a football manager end victorious after his charges snatch a late 2-1 win over Sassuolo to move to the top of the Serie A table.

Juventus’ frustrating start to the season on Saturday continued following a 2-1 loss to Napoli in the weekend’s blockbuster affair in Naples.
Alvaro Morata looked to set Juve on their way to victory with the lead into halftime, but Matteo Politano clawed Luciano Spalletti’s side level before Kalidou Koulibaly bagged the winner late on.
The win keep Spalletti’s men level on nine points with AS Roma and AC Milan, while Juventus who recently lost Cristiano Ronaldo remains winless.
