Juventus lost further ground on Serie A leaders Inter Milan after being held to a 1-1 draw by Hellas Verona on Saturday night.
Wojciech Szczesny, Federico Bernardeschi and Adrien Rabiot were recalled by Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo after the 2-2 draw with Genoa last weekend.
Szczesny was called into action early on after producing a superb save to deny Marco Faraoni by tipping the striker's header onto the crossbar and out for a corner.
Juventus were desperate to get back on the winning trail after the UEFA Champions League loss to FC Porto this week, but chances were few and far between in the opening 45 minutes.

The breakthrough eventually arrived on 49 minutes as Cristiano Ronaldo got on the end of Federico Chiesa's cross to fire past Marco Silvestri with a first-time finish.
However, Pirlo's men were unable to take advantage of their dominance after being let down by their final ball which saw Aaron Ramsey withdrawn for Weston Mkennie just after the hour mark.
Verona grew stronger and eventually pulled themselves level in the 77th minute as Antonin Barak got above his marker to head home Darko Lazovic's cross to rescue a point for the home side.
As a result, Juventus remain in third spot but they could find themselves 10 points adrift of league leaders Inter Milan on Sunday, should Antonio Conte's men beat Genoa.
