Official: Juventus sack Sarri

Juventus have decided to part ways with manager Maurizio Sarri after just one season in charge at the club.

It seems the Italian giants were not too pleased to see the side eliminated from the UEFA Champions League at the hands of Olympique Lyon on Friday night.

Sarri has led the Old Lady to another league title this season, but it was not enough for him to keep his job.

"Juventus Football Club announces that Maurizio Sarri has been relieved of his post as coach of the First Team.

"The club would like to thank the coach for having written a new page in Juventus' history with the victory of the ninth-consecutive championship, the culmination of a personal journey that led him to climb all the divisions of Italian football."
