Official: Inter terminate Eriksen's deal

Serie A

Serie A champions Inter Milan have terminated the contract of Christian Eriksen who is not allowed to play in Italy after having a cardiac device fitted.

The 29-year-old suffered a cardiac arrest in the first half of Denmark's 2020 UEFA European Championship opener against Finland in June.

Sky Sports News has reported that Eriksen is not allowed to play in Italy with the implantable cardioverter-defibrillator due to Italy's health regulations.

It is being reported that the Danish midfielder would be allowed to play in a different country where the rules are not the same.
