Juventus head coach Andrea Pirlo has hinted the club may sign Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud in the January transfer window.
As the mid-way mark of the Serie A approaches, the Italy legend has endured a less than perfect start to life with the Bianconeri who are chasing their 10th consecutive Scudetto.
After the 4-1 thumping of Udinese on Sunday, Juve trail league leaders AC Milan by 10 points albeit with a game in hand and Giroud has now emerged as a potential target to bolster their attacking options.
"He'd be handy," Pirlo told DAZN after their latest victory moved them into fifth place.
"We already discussed with the club what we want to do and if there are any opportunities. Maybe a striker that can rotate with our strikers."
The 34-year-old has scored nine goals in 15 games for the struggling Blues this season but has not his desire for a new challenge after eight years in the Premier League.
