Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur, who has been linked with FC Barcelona and Arsenal, has inked a new two-year deal at the club that will see him remain at the Turin giants until 2024.
Bentancur made the move to Turin in 2017 from Boca Juniors and has become an integral part of the Bianconeri side, making 40 appearances in all competitions last season to win his second successive Scudetto and an eighth consecutive league title for the club.
Having already agreed terms until 2022 previously, the 21-year-old has now extended that by a further two years.
Confirming the deal, Juventus released a statement on their official website which read: "Rodrigo Bentancur has officially extended his Juventus stay by penning a contract, which will tie him to the club until 2024.
"Bentancur has shown he can be a dependable, intelligent and an agile midfielder, who demonstrates his class each time he steps onto the pitch."
