Inter Milan vice president Javier Zanetti has responded to reports linking striker Lautaro Martinez with a €112million move to FC Barcelona.
Radio La Red reported that the Catalan giants were preparing the bid for the 22-year-old, who plays alongside Lionel Messi for Argentina.
'El Toro', as the striker is nicknamed, registered nine goals and two assists in 35 appearances in his debut season in Italy while he has also looked impressive in the recent Copa America.
However, Zanetti insists the Nerazzurri have not received any offers for the Argentine forward.
“Inter haven’t received any offers,” the Nerazzurri Vice-President told TyC Sports.
“I hope Lautaro keeps going like this. For us he’s an important player and we see him with our shirt.
“I’m very happy because he did very well in his first season. It’s not easy and at only 21 he showed personality.”
