What CR7 told Roma star in heated clash
The former Real Madrid and Manchester United superstar became embroiled in an altercation with Giallorossi skipper Alessandro Florenzi just before the hour mark.
Italy international Florenzi attempted to confront Ronaldo but was ushered away by referee Davide Massa while the 34-year-old was shushing his opponent, before mocking his height with an insightful hand gesture.
The Roma defender was clearly incensed and had to be held back by his teammate Kostas Manolas.
According to Italian publication CalcioMercato, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner insulted Florenzi about his height, reportedly saying 'you are too little to talk'.
While the 34-year-old has been criticised for his unprofessionalism, he was seen apologsing for his actions after the game and embracing the Italy international.
