Cristiano Ronaldo may have been eliminated from the UEFA Champions League, but the Portuguese forward did manage to break a Juventus record after bagging a brace.
For the second season in a row, the Italian champions have failed to make a deep run in Europe's premier club competition after going out on the away goals rule to Olympique Lyon.
Ronaldo did put up a valiant fight on the night after bagging a brace to secure the win on the night, but it was his second goal that made history as he reached 37 goals in all competitions this season.
As a result, the 35-year-old has now broken Juventus' all-time scoring record for most goals in one season, a record which stood for 95 years.
Despite missing out on the Champions League again, Ronaldo did another Serie A title to his football CV this season although he was beaten to the Golden Boot award by Lazio's Ciro Immobile.
