Cristiano Ronaldo admits his eldest son's diet may prevent him from replicating his superstardom in football.
Ronaldo Jr. has hit the headlines for his goalscoring exploits in Juventus' youth team since his father's record-breaking switch to the Italian giants from Real Madrid.
But despite his obvious talent, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner says there's a long journey ahead if he is to follow in his footsteps as one of the greatest footballers of all time.
"We'll have to wait and see if my son becomes a great player. At times he eats crisps and drinks fizzy drinks and he knows that makes me angry, but I guess that's normal behavior for a ten-year-old boy," he said at the Globe Soccer Awards.
"He has the potential to be good as he is fast and can beat players. That said, he needs to work hard and show dedication.
"I won't apply any pressure on him but if you ask me if I'd like to see him succeed in football, then I'd say 'yes'. However, I want the best for him always and that's irrespective if he becomes a footballer or a doctor."
