Juventus have confirmed one of their star first-team players has tested positive for Coronavirus.
Daniele Rugani, 25, has contracted the Covid-19 virus that has put Italy at a standstill as the European nation struggles to contain the outbreak.
It's believed to be the first footballer in Serie A to have been diagnosed and in a statement released on Wednesday evening.
The club stated Rugani was "currently asymptomatic," as they follow isolation procedures required by law for him and anyone who has had contact with him.
Rugani, who was on the bench in their top of the table clash against Inter Milan that was played behind closed doors on Sunday, meaning his teammates, coaches and staff members will now be quarantined for 14 days.
That will most likely make it impossible for the Bianconeri to play its Champions League match against Lyon next week, and the news could lead to a quarantine for Inter's players and technical staff as well.
