Matthews, who is on loan from Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund, opened his account on Sunday, when he opened the scoring in Swedish side Varberg's 3-3 draw with Elfsborg. Countrymen Le Roux and Ayer both also featured in the match.
Having helped secure Belensenses' place in Portugal's top flight last weekend, Phete started again for the Primeira Liga outfit on Sunday as they ended their campaign with a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Vitoria Setubal.
