Following the coronavirus-enforced break that was implemented by most countries around the world, a number of leagues have now begun to return and no fewer than three South African stars have returned to the pitch.

Mihlali Mayambela

On Monday night, Mayambela came on at half-time for 10-man Bnei Yehuda during the club's 0-0 draw with Hapoel Kfar Saba in the Israeli Premier League. The on-loan midfielder has scored once in six appearances since joining the club in January, and will look to build on his performances in the seven remaining Relegation Round matches this season.

Gift Links

Having made his return to the field during a 1-1 draw against Randers last Thursday, Links featured from the bench on Monday as Aarhus Gymnastikforening (AGF) recorded a 1-0 Danish Superliga win over OB. With one match remaining in the regular season for the club, the victory effectively ensured that AGF will qualify for this season's Champions Round.

Lars Veldwijk

On Saturday, Bafana Bafana striker Lars Veldwijk made his first league start for Jeonbuk Motors in South Korea's K League 1. The 28-year-old's maiden run-out lasted just 19 minutes, however, as he was substituted off following the red card dismissal of teammate Hong Jeong-Ho.
