Belgian champions Club Brugge have reportedly made a decision on Percy Tau's future at the club, just hours after the Bafana Bafana star was linked with a move to one of the club's rivals.
On Wednesday, amid speculation that Tau would not be extending his stay in Brugge, reports from Belgium suggested that the 26-year-old had been offered to fellow Jupiler Pro League side Royal Antwerp by parent club Brighton & Hove Albion.
Fresh reports surrounding the former Mamelodi Sundowns star's future have since emerged, with it now being claimed that Brugge have decided not to extend his loan or sign him on a permanent deal for next season.
According to Het Nieuwsblad, the club has elected to part ways with Tau and will instead focus on developing their youth, particularly following the emergence of 19-year-old forward Charles De Ketelaere.

That decision could leave the 2017/18 PSL Golden Boot winner at a crossroads as he does not yet qualify for a work permit to play for Brighton, meaning a short-term move to Antwerp may become a genuine option.
Tau scored four goals and recorded eight assists in 30 games across all competitions for Brugge this past season, featuring in the UEFA Champions League and winning the Jupiler Pro League title in the process.
