Despite struggling to hit top form during his time with Club Brugge, Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau has been tipped to "explode" at rivals Anderlecht if his anticipated move goes through.
Tau spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Brugge from Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion, and played a hand in three goals and four assists in 18 league appearances during the club's title-winning campaign.
With Brugge having seemingly elected against signing the 26-year-old permanently, however, he has since been strongly linked with a move to the reigning Jupiler Pro League champions' rivals, Anderlecht.
Amid the ongoing speculation, Tau's former Union Saint-Gilloise manager Luka Elsner, who is currently Bongani Zungu's boss at Amiens, has tipped him to "explode" if he makes the move to Vincent Kompany's side.

"... The step he took was very big," Elsner told Het Laatste Nieuws.
"From playing for 3 000 fans to the Champions League with matches in the [Santiago] Bernabeu and the Parc des Princes. It would have surprised me if he had played for the entire season.
"Percy is 26, but he only came to Europe in 2018. He is still in a learning process and last season's experiences are going to make him better.
"We should not be too strict either, he did not fail at Brugge. Percy also played good matches, such as against Real. He now knows what it is like to play at the top in Belgium and that can help him at Anderlecht.
"The qualities to do well there, he has anyway. He can really explode at Anderlecht."
