Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau has confirmed his departure from Belgian champions Club Brugge, and it appears that his next move has already been lined up.

The 26-year-old took to social media on Thursday evening to share a message of gratitude to Brugge after spending the 2019/20 season on loan in Belgium from Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion.

"I'd like to take this moment to say thank you to the players, technical team, entire staff and supporters for a successful loan spell @ClubBrugge, I thank you," Tau tweeted.

Later in the evening, Mamelodi Sundowns assistant coach Rhulani Mokwena replied to Tau's post and seemingly dropped a hint that his next move has already been decided, although there has been no confirmation as to where that might be at this stage.

The Witbank-born forward played a hand in 12 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions for Brugge, scoring four and assisting a further eight, and featured prominently in the club's UEFA Champions League campaign this season.
