Bafana Bafana star Keagan Dolly completed his preparations ahead of Montpellier's 2020/21 season opener in France with a well-taken goal over the weekend.
On Friday evening, Ligue 1 side Montpellier brought their formalised pre-season campaign to a close with a 3-1 win over second division side Rodez AF.
Dolly was introduced to the match as a 76th minute substitute for Algeria striker Andy Delort and needed just five minutes to get his name on the scoresheet, slotting home from a Yun Il-Lok assist to secure his side the win on the night.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns star will be hoping his performance is a sign of things to come after being limited to just nine league appearances over the past two seasons due to a spate of injuries.
Montpellier's domestic campaign gets underway on Saturday, 29 August, when the club travels to Rennes for their 2020/21 Ligue 1 season opener.
