Seoposenwe lands Portugal move

Banyana Banyana star Jermaine Seoposenwe has officially signed for SC Braga in Portugal.

On Monday, Portuguese side SC Braga announced the signing of Seoposenwe ahead of the 2020/21 campaign, just days after the South Africa international had left Spanish outfit Real Betis.

"I definitely hope to start well, be in touch with the team and fight for all the trophies. That is the focus, working hard to achieve these goals," Seoposenwe told the club's official website.

"Liga BPI is a championship with players with a lot of skill and technique. I am excited to be on the pitch and start training and playing with my teammates."

Braga unveiled the 26-year-old alongside German footballer Cindy Konig, who was part of the Werder Bremen side that won the second division last season. 

Seoposenwe follows in the footsteps of compatriot Thembi Kgatlana, who joined fellow Portuguese side Benfica in January.
