Ndlovu one game away from play-offs

Bafana Bafana striker Dino Ndlovu is one match away from potentially securing a spot in the Chinese Super League promotion play-offs.

After finishing second in Group B during the regular season, Ndlovu's Zhejiang Energy Greentown have continued their impressive form in the promotion stage of the competition, in which they have lost just one of their four matches thus far.

With an eye on promotion to the lucrative Chinese Super League, the Hangzhou-based outfit currently share second place on the log with Chengdu Better City, whom they recorded a nail-biting 1-0 victory over on Wednesday afternoon.

That result leaves Greentown in control of their own fate when they meet bottom-of-the-log Taizhou Yuanda on Saturday, while the club also still has an outside chance of securing automatic promotion if Changchun Yatai fall to a heavy defeat at the hands of Chengdu on the final day.

Only the top side is guaranteed promotion, while the second-placed team will have to take part in a relegation/promotion play-off against the club that ends 15th in the Chinese Super League.
