Brighton and Hove Albion have provided an update on Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau ahead of Sunday’s clash against Manchester United.
The Seagulls take their fight for survival to Manchester on Sunday night, but they will be without the services of Tau.
The Bafana forward will miss the trip to the Red Devils as he is quarantining for 10 days after returning from international duty.
Brighton manager Graham Potter says Tau really wanted to represent his national side knowing what was going to happen when he returned to England.
"He was very keen to go and it was important opportunity for him. He felt it was important for him to get some game time," Potter said, as per the club's twitter account.
"When we weighed it up we knew the negative of the quarantine but at the same time we have helped him to play for his country.
"He’s a fit lad and we can help him while he is quarantining. We just have to adapt to not having him for ten days."
