Bafana Bafana midfielder Bongani Zungu made his first start for Scottish giants Rangers during the club's 4-0 League Cup win over Falkirk on Sunday.
After missing Rangers' previous two matches through injury, including a mid-week clash against Benfica in the UEFA Europa League, Zungu was named in the club's starting lineup to make his first start against Falkirk over the weekend.
The 28-year-old featured prominently before being replaced in the 71st minute, as Steven Gerrard's outfit claimed a resounding 4-0 victory, courtesy of goals from former England international Jermain Defoe, Calvin Ughelumba, Borna Barisic and captain James Tavernier.

Zungu joined Rangers on a season-long loan from Ligue 2 side Amiens in October and made his debut earlier this month when he featured as a second-half substitute during an 8-0 win over Hamilton Academical.
However, he was made to wait until Sunday to make his next appearance for the club after sustaining a minor knee injury on international duty during South Africa's 4-2 Africa Cup of Nations qualification win over Sao Tome & Principe.
