Bafana Bafana star Lars Veldwijk marked his return to football in perfect style with a match-winning performance in South Korea's K-League.

Having missed the opening match of the season through injury, Veldwijk returned to action on Saturday to play the role of super-sub in Jeonbuk Motors' 2-1 K-League win over Busan IPark.

Reigning champions Jeonbuk had taken the lead in the 16th minute through Hong Jeong-Ho's header before Busan equalised in the second half through a penalty by Romulo, just minutes after Veldwijk's introduction to the pitch.

The South Africa international had the final say in proceedings, however, after hitting home a 93rd-minute winner to maintain his side's 100% winning record in the league this season.
