SA players abroad shine again

Players Abroad

South African teenager Lyle Foster made his Ligue 1 debut for AS Monaco while four strikers found the net in a weekend to remember for South African players abroad.
Kurt Abrahams
It seems as Abrahams has taken over the mantle from Percy Tau in the Proximus League as he made it two goals in two starts.
The 22-year-old forward netted another poachers finish to hand Westerlo a 1-0 win over OH Leuven, the side Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Darren Keet recently joined.
Keanin Ayer
The 19-year-old midfielder played the full 90 minutes for Varberg Bois as they played out to a 2-2 draw with Frej which moved them off the summit and into second place in the Superettan for the first time this season.
Ayer has featured in 18 games and started all but one fixture, scoring one goal in the process in what's considered his breakout season in Europe since his arrival from the esteemed Right to Dream academy in Accra.
Thabo Cele and Sergio Marakis
It appears Marakis has pushed compatriot Cele out the first XI at Cova Piedade this season as he started in their 3-2 defeat against Mafra in the Portuguese second-tier.
Cele was an unused substitute in the Liga Pro opener.
Keagan Dolly
Dolly made his Ligue 1 return with just over 15 minutes for Montpellier as he looks to overcome his recent injury struggles.
The Bafana Bafana winger nearly found the net with a thunderous strike shortly after taking to the field but his effort struck the cross bar during the narrow 1-0 defeat to Stade Rennes.
Lyle Foster
The 18-year-old earned his first start in the French top-flight as he led the line against Olympique Lyon in the season opener for AS Monaco.
His side went down to ten-men in the first half after Cesc Fabregas was apprehended by officials via VAR - which saw Foster hauled off at the break in the 3-0 defeat.
Liam Jordan
The South Africa international forward played the full 90 minutes for HB Koge as they drew 0-0 with Viborg in the NordicBet Liga.
Dino Ndlovu
Ndlovu found the back of the net once again to notch his 13th of the season in the Chinese League One as Greentown thumped Liaoning Whowin 4-1.
The result moves his side into seventh place, just seven points off league leaders Changchun Yatai.
Lebo Phiri
Lebogang Phiri played 82 minutes for  EAD Guingamp as they picked up a 1-0 win over US Orléans in Ligue 2.
Percy Tau
It's been a dream start for Tau at Club Brugge, with a debut goal, a UEFA Champions League and now adding his second in the 2-0 win over Oostende.
Tau's form in the Belgium top-flight provides a promising sign as he enters his next stage of developing within European football.
Thulani Serero
In what is looks set to be his final game in the Eredivisie, Serero played the full 90 minutes in a 2-0 win over Willem II.
Lars Veldwijk
The towering Veldwijk netted his second of the season in his second appearance off the bench for Sparta Rotterdam as they eased to a 4-1 win over VVV in the Eredivisie.
Sparta are now in fifth place in the Dutch top-flight after two rounds of fixtures and the Bafana Bafana strike looks set to play a central role in their return to the big league.
Bongani Zungu
Zungu was a second half substitute for Amiens as they lost 2-1 to OGC Nice in their league opener this weekend, the South African star is being eased back into the first XI after an injury ravaged 2018/19 season.
