Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau could leave Club Brugge this month with interest in his services reportedly mounting.

Tau enjoyed a remarkable start to life with the Belgian First Division A leaders upon joining them on loan from Brighton, but his form suffered a notable dip towards the mid-season break.

While his influence off the pitch has been well documented in Belgian media, reports have surfaced claiming several Turkish Super Lig clubs have enquired about his availability.

With Brugge head coach Philippe Clement holding a plethora of attacking options and now linked with Argentina wonderkid Adolfo Gaich, Voetbal24 claim there's a chance of Tau being allowed to depart.

Fenerbahçe were one of the first club's believed to have expressed interest in the 26-year-old, but domestic rivals Gaziantep and Yeni Malatyaspor have now seemingly joined the race.

Malatyaspor, the club of former Kaizer Chiefs defender Teenage Hadebe are in eighth place in the 18-team division, while Gaziantep is ninth at the half-way mark of the season.

Despite the mounting interest, Belgian publication Voetbal Nieuws suggests it's unlikely that Brugge will allow Tau's temporary switch to be terminated, with six-months remaining on the deal with Brighton.

The South Africa star, who was nominated for the 2019 African Player of the Year award, has scored four goals and registered seven assists in 24 games for the Belgian giants this season.
