Club Brugge could lose out on the services of Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau with Fenerbahçe said to be keen on luring him to the Turkish Super Lig.

After an impressive start to life in Belgium and featuring three times in the UEFA Champions League group stage with Brugge, the South African is believed to have caught the eye of the Turkish giants.

With his long-term future at parent club Brighton and Hove Albion uncertain due to work-permit constraints, Belgian news outlet Voetbalkrant claim Ersun Yanal's side are ready to hijack a renewed loan or permanent move from the Belgian top-flight leaders.

According to Turkish publication Akit, the club's leading forward Vedat Muriqi is attracting the interest of Jose Mourinho's Tottenham and Leicester City and Tau has been identified as a possible replacement for the 25-year-old.

The report further added that Tau's recent rotation role under manager Philippe Clement in recent weeks may tempt the former Mamelodi Sundowns forward to listen to offers elsewhere.

Tau has scored three goals and registered six assists in 21 games across all competitions this season.
