Promising South African winger Tashreeq Matthews has completed a season-long loan switch to Helsingborgs IF from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.

Matthews, 18, joined Dortmund in November 2018 from Ajax Cape Town and shortly after his arrival made a short-term move to Jong Utrecht in the Eerste Divisie.
After developing within the youth ranks of Germany with a couple of UEFA Youth League appearances and six months in the Netherlands, the Amajita winger will now take his first steps into senior football in Sweden.
"I feel welcome and it feels very good to be here," Matthews told the club's website. "The fans have to decide for themselves what kind of player I am.
"I still have a lot to learn but what I can say is that I am here to do my best and help the club."
The teenager will now look to further his career under the management of former FC Barcelona striker Henrik Larsson at the seven-time Allsvenskan winners.
