South African starlet Kwinda Netshitangani, whose incredible skills went viral on social media last year, has secured a contract with a new club in Spain.
On Thursday, Spanish lower-league side CD Almunecar City confirmed the signing of Johannesburg-born starlet Netshitangani for the 2020/21 campaign.
"We're absolutely thrilled to welcome Kwindi to the club for the 2020/21 season," club sporting director George Jermy said.
"He's an amazing young talent, possessing electric pace and is an absolute enjoy (sic) to watch. We can't wait to work with Kwinda as he makes the transition into senior football."
Following the completion of the deal, Netshitangani's agent Luther Munakandafa explained that the move was a win-win situation for both the player and the club.
"Kwinda signing for CD Almunecar City is a massive statement of intent for both parties," Munakandafa told the club's official website.
"It's a marriage made in heaven. We're hoping that Kwinda can impress as he transitions into senior football; he has loads of talent and, like the club, is definitely going places."
The 19-year-old forward teams up with fellow South African and former Free State Stars defender Thabang Matuka at the Spanish club.
