Egypt legend Ibrahim Hassan has once again taken aim at Pitso Mosimane after the South African coach masterminded a 4-0 win over Ittihad of Alexandria.
Mosimane returned to the dugout for the first time since recovering from Covid-19 to help the 2019/20 treble winners secure their third consecutive league game.
With assistant coach Cavin Johnson overseeing two league wins in his absence, Mosimane's return coincided with a dominant display.
Mahmoud Kahraba, Hussein El-Shahat, Mohamed Sherif, and Akram Tawfik found the back of the net as the former Mamelodi Sundowns boss inflicted a second defeat on Ittihad since his arrival.
But Hassan, who serves as the Sporting Director to his twin brother, Hossam, refused to accept the result graciously on Monday evening.
"If [Al Ahly's kit man] Hareth took charge, he will win trophies,” the 14-time league winner said.
"If we [Hossam and Ibrahim] took charge of Al Ahly we will win trophies. If Pitso coached any other team in the league, he will get sacked after two games.
"Al Ahly wasn’t good against us in the Egypt Cup nor in their last games nor in the CAF Champions League."
The Red Devils have won 13 games and drawn one across all competitions since the arrival of the two-time CAF Champions League-winning manager.
