Pitso Mosimane has omitted three first-team stars from the Al Ahly Egyptian Premier League squad as he starts to build his own team ahead of the 2020/21 season.
Straight after winning the 2019/20 CAF Champions League, Mosimane has left out three first-team players from their league squad registration list sent to the Egyptian Football Association on Monday.

Aliou Badji, who arrived with major fanfare in January in a R35-million switch from Rapid Vienna has been told he has no future at the record nine-time CAF Champions League winners along with winger Ahmed El Sheikh.
However, the biggest surprise has been the termination of contract of the club's number 10, Saleh Gomaa, who still had two years remaining on his current contract.
The Egypt international looked set to be given a chance by Mosimane after receiving only six minutes of football under his predecessor Rene Weiler all season.
However, the player has seemingly not convinced the technical team of his desire to remain at the club with his deal terminated via mutual consent without financial compensation.
Angola forward Geraldo is said to be the next player set to depart the Red Devils before the end of the transfer window as Mosimane looks to rope in his own players.
Gaston Sirino is said to have agreed a deal in principle to join Badr Banoun and Taher Mohamed amongst the club's big-money signings but the Red Devils have yet to agree a fee with Mamelodi Sundowns.
