Al Ahly have confirmed the transfer of 'Beckham' as Pitso Mosimane's second signing since his arrival at the Egyptian giants.
As the Red Devils prepare for the CAF Champions League final against Zamalek on Friday, they have already secured two new players for Mosimane's squad ahead of next season.
Following Morocco international Badr Banoun from Raja Casablanca in a reported $2-million switch, Ahmed Ramadan Mohamed, more commonly known as 'Beckham' has returned to the Egyptian Premier League champions.
The 23-year-old has signed a five-year contract after an impressive season at domestic rivals Wadi Degla, where he showed the versatility of playing at centre-back and right-back.
With Ahmed Fathi leaving for Pyramids, the academy graduate has been touted as the long-term replacement for the veteran who won 22 major titles over 12 seasons.

"Al Ahly is my home and I am a die-hard fan since I was eight. I left the club two years ago and my dream was to come back and I am happy that I fulfilled this dream," Beckham told the club's website.
"I can play in more than one position such as a right-back, centre back or even as a defensive central midfielder. Also, I don’t mind playing in any new position if that means I’ll help the team.
"I am looking forward to gain coach Pitso Mosimane’s trust and help the team achieve many victories."
