The Premier League fixtures for the 2019/20 season has been confirmed with Manchester hosting Chelsea at Old Trafford the headline game for the opening matchweek.
Manchester City became the first side in a decade to retain the Premier League crown last season in a thrilling title race against Liverpool.
Pep Guardiola's side pipped the Jurgen Klopp's men by one point after 38 enthralling match weeks, with the Reds amassing a records point total for a runners-up finish.
With London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham completing the top-four, Arsenal and Manchester United who finished in fifth and sixth place respectively will no doubt invest heavily in the off-season to get back in UEFA Champions League qualification spots.
The Red Devils face off against the Blues in the headline fixture on Sunday 11 August, while champions City open their season with an early kickoff against West Ham on Saturday the 10th.
Liverpool open the season against SkyBet Championship title winners Norwich City, in which Klopp will meet fellow German manager Daniel Farke.
