Jose Mourinho has rejected his latest offer to return to management with Ligue 1 side Lyon as he's 'already chosen another club'.
Lyon sacked Sylvinho on Monday one day after a damaging 1-0 defeat in the derby with Saint Etienne, which marked their fourth loss in nine matches.
And Mourinho immediatly emerged as the leading candidate to replace the former FC Barcelona full-back at the French giants who last won the league in the 2007/08 season.
However, club President Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed that Mourinho, who has been without a job since being sacked by United in December 2018, has already selected his next club.
"We had some fairly flattering exchanges over text," Aulas told reporters, as per GFF News.
"It was nice for everyone. He did not accept our proposal to meet because he has already chosen another club."

Despite Mourinho publically expressing his desire to return to management this is the second known job offer he's rejected this year - after Last season, turning down a €100 million (R1.7 biilion) contract to manage Guangzhou Evergrande.
If agreed, the deal would have ranked as the most lucrative management contract in the history of football.
But according to ESPN, the iconic coach is biding his time for 'the right club'.
Mourinho has strongly been linked with Tottenham and Real Madrid in recent weeks but it remains to be seen where the three-time Premier League winner will end up.
