FC Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak, who has been compared to countryman Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Isak (21) has been one of the standout players in Spain this season where his 12 goals in 20 appearances have fired the Royals into contention to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season.
Per ESPN, the Sweden international's performances have caught the attention of Barcelona who are said to have shortlisted him as a possible signing at the end of the season, with the club looking to bolster its attack.
Isak, who was previously on the books of Borussia Dortmund, has reportedly popped up on the radar of Barca who want to improve on their attacking options, with Martin Braithwaite currently serving as the club's only recognised striker.
The towering striker has often been compared to fellow Swedish striker Ibrahimovic, who previously represented Barcelona during Pep Guardiola's reign and scored 22 goals in 46 appearances for the Catalan giants.
Barca are also said to be interested in Benfica striker Darwin Nunez and Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez, while Manchester City stalwart Sergio Aguero has been touted as a possible short-term solution.
